Manhattan OMS Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manhattan OMS Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Manhattan OMS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, customizing, and maintaining the Manhattan Order Management System within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient flow of order processing, inventory management, and customer fulfillment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead or contribute to the successful implementation of the Manhattan Order Management System, ensuring that it aligns with our business requirements and industry best practices.
- Customize the Manhattan OMS to meet specific business needs by configuring workflows, rules, and user interfaces. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
- Integrate the Manhattan OMS with other critical systems like ERP, WMS, and CRM to establish a seamless and synchronized flow of data across the organization.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues related to the Manhattan OMS. Provide prompt support to end-users, troubleshoot problems, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Monitor system performance and proactively optimize the Manhattan OMS to handle high order volumes efficiently, especially during peak business periods.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of order data within the Manhattan OMS, and implement data governance policies to maintain data integrity.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive customer data and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and integrations for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and other team members to enhance their understanding and effective utilization of the Manhattan OMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Operations, and IT, to understand business requirements and ensure that the Manhattan OMS meets organizational needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Manhattan OMS technology. Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proven experience in implementing and customizing the Manhattan Order Management System.
- Strong programming skills in Java or other relevant programming languages.
- Knowledge of integration techniques and experience with API integration.
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS, and CRM systems and their integration with Manhattan OMS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Solid understanding of order fulfillment processes and supply chain management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
