Mobility ADO, one of Mexico's largest transportation companies, sought to accelerate its digital transformation with a solution that would allow its users to purchase bus tickets from their mobile devices and reduce lines at the country's busiest terminals.

The Challenge

Mobility ADO, one of Mexico’s largest transportation and mobility companies, aimed to accelerate its digital transformation journey by implementing a mobile bus ticket booking solution. The goal was to enable customers to purchase digital tickets via mobile devices, improve the passenger experience, and reduce long queues at Mexico’s busiest bus terminals.Additionally, they aimed to implement a middleware layer to expose internal services to external enterprise applications, enable analytics, and support remote sales through new user roles.

Native Mobile App Development (Android & iOS): Built high-performance, user-friendly apps to streamline online bus ticket booking and improve the passenger experience.

Scalable Web & Mobile Applications: Designed to handle up to 280 concurrent users per minute, ensuring smooth performance during peak travel times.

Seamless Backend Integration: Connected with critical enterprise systems like APCD, Oracle Cloud, ERPCO, and Huawei Cloud Services for secure and reliable operations.

Data-Driven Insights with Firebase Analytics: Enabled real-time analytics and reporting to support smarter, data-driven business decisions.

New Affiliate User Role: Introduced a feature to allow affiliates and agents to sell bus tickets from any location, expanding sales channels.

Microservices Architecture: Adopted a modular, cloud-native microservices approach to improve scalability, flexibility, and faster time-to-market.

End-to-End Project Support: Provided ongoing support, QA testing, maintenance, and project management to ensure long-term success and reliability.
