Client

NULogic partnered with The Good Feet Store to design and implement a robust AWS-based architecture and support critical integrations across their business systems.

Founded in 1992, The Good Feet Store is the market-leading manufacturer and retailer of premium, personally fitted arch supports, with nearly 300 retail locations in the U.S. and abroad. Engineered for comfort and pain relief in more than 400 styles, flexibilities, and sizes, Good Feet Arch Supports are personally fitted to the precise needs and preferences of its customers and are backed by a Manufacturer’s Lifetime Limited Warranty.

The Challenge

As a leading specialty retailer, The Good Feet Store needed to modernize its technology foundation to support growth, improve reliability, and integrate a growing set of digital tools. Their existing infrastructure relied on Boomi for integrations, which introduced cost and performance inefficiencies. They also faced challenges around scalability, data redundancy, and system resilience.  Additionally, The Good Feet Store was rolling out a new POS system (Erply), a new appointment scheduling tool (Appointedd, replacing Accuity), and a retail traffic monitoring tool (Verkada). While implemented by their respective vendors, these systems required seamless integration into the broader commerce and CRM ecosystem.

The Solution

NULogic partnered with The Good Feet Store to design and implement a robust AWS-based architecture and support critical integrations across their business systems.

Key elements included:
  • Comprehensive Assessment & Planning: Audited existing infrastructure to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Cloud-Native Integration: Replaced Boomi with custom AWS integrations using Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
  • Resilient Infrastructure: Built a Multi-AZ architecture with Amazon RDS for real-time database replication and Elastic Load Balancer for traffic distribution and failover.
  • Data Redundancy & Backup: Configured automated backups in Amazon S3 for secure, reliable storage.
  • Real-Time Monitoring: Implemented Amazon CloudWatch for proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management protocols to reduce downtime.
  • Cost Optimization: Leveraged AWS auto-scaling to align infrastructure costs with demand.
  • System Integrations: Integrated Erply POS, Appointedd scheduling, and Verkada traffic monitoring tools into AWS.
  • CRM Expansion: Extended support into Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM) to unify customer data and processes

The Results

With NULogic’s support, The Good Feet Store significantly strengthened its IT and commerce ecosystem:

  • 99.99% uptime achieved through resilient AWS Multi-AZ architecture.
  • Faster, more cost-effective integrations with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and S3 replacing Boomi.
  • Improved customer operations via seamless integrations across POS, scheduling, traffic monitoring, and CRM
  • Scalable and secure foundation enabling future innovation and rapid deployment of new tools.
  • Peace of mind from real-time monitoring, automated backups, and proactive incident response protocols.
